Just saw your site, I can relate to it. There are times also when I do not want to look at a person all day. My site is about organ donation. My daughter had a heart transplant dec 30 2013. We spent close to 1 1/2 years in the hospital. I have been writing about our journey. My daughter can relate to you, I will be showing her your blog. She is going through a depression at this point. No motivation. She is 25 years old. Glad I found your site.

I can imagine it was very difficult for both of you going through the transplant process. A lot of times, when you go through a serious illness or major surgery, it’s common to have depression. My mom has had to deal with both me and my dad being in the hospital, and it’s taken a toll on her. She most likely can relate to what you’re feeling.
What’s important is that you’re there for your daughter. Depression, even if it’s triggered by an event such as illness or major surgery, should be evaluated by a doctor. It’s important to get help for it before it worsens. Had I been diagnosed earlier, I probably could have saved myself a lot of heartache.
